Services We Provide

Eye Health Examination
You already know optometrists prescribe glasses and contact lenses, but did you know a comprehensive eye exam can also reveal hidden health problems such as diabetes, hypertension, and cancer?.
External Eye Exam: examining cornea and lens for irregularities. We will rule out conditions such as Cataracts, Dry Eye Syndrome, and Blepharitis.
Internal Eye Exam: This may involve drops to dilate the pupils, giving a better view of the retina and the optic nerve. We carefully examine your eyes looking for problems such as leaking blood vessels and other medical conditions that show up in the eye. We will rule out conditions such as Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinal Disease, or Retinal Detachment.
Refraction
This portion of the eye examination reveals your level of hyperopia (farsightedness), myopia (nearsightedness), astigmatism and presbyopia. We work carefully to determine the exact prescription required to provide optimal acuity, sharpness, and focus for near, far, and everywhere in between.
Eye health exams do more than determine if you see well. They are a vital part of your overall health.
Request an Appointment nowContact Lens Services
Whether you are considering contact lenses as a supplement to your current glasses, for sports and recreation, or just to change your look you’ve made the right choice by contacting Triangle EyeCare.
We specialize in finding solutions for patients who want the freedom of wearing contact lenses.
Building on the Eye Health Evaluation, we will then perform a thorough evaluation of the tear film layers, eyelid function, and surface of your corneas. This information will allow the doctor to recommend the proper lens design, material, size, and shape that will provide you with optimal vision and comfort.
Have a complex prescription? We also offer specialty contact lenses for high prescriptions, astigmatism, and multifocals for presbyopia.
To ensure your eyes remain healthy and your lenses continue to provide you with optimal comfort and clarity, we perform a contact lens evaluation at each of your yearly exams. We will adjust the prescription to best fit your needs and verify that your lens fits properly. We will answer any questions you may have, and advise you of any new lens technology that may benefit you.
